Prof. Zhou Xuhong, President of Lanzhou University led a delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on July 21. Prof. Zhou met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and signed a memorandum of understanding for student interflow activity between the two universities to implement a summer interflow activity for students between Lanzhou University and CUHK Chung Chi College (CC).

S.H. Ho Foundation made a generous donation to Peking University (PKU) in support of the student exchange programme between S.H. Ho College, CUHK and Yuanpei College, PKU.

The donation ceremony was held at PKU on July 20. Prof. Zhou Qifeng, President of PKU, accepted the donation on behalf of the University from Dr. Ho Tzu-leung, Director of S.H. Ho Foundation . Prof. Samuel Sun, Master of S.H. Ho College, and Mr. Andrew Lau, College Secretary, also attended the ceremony.

On July 16, Prof. Michael Hui, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Prof. Lin Hui, Director, Institute of Space and Earth Information Science of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) attended the "China Land Observing Satellite third User Conference" in Beijing. The conference was held by the China Center for Resources Satellite Data and Applications (CRESDA).

A delegation led by Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Dean of Faculty of Medicine visited the Bureau of Health of Shenzhen Municipality (SHB) on July 8 to meet with SHB officials to promote mutual understanding and sustainable development of bilateral relations. The delegation consisted of two Associate Deans of the Faculty Prof. Joseph Sung and Prof. Ng Ho-keung; Ms. Yvonne Lai, Administration Manager of the Planning Office; Ms. Janet Chow, Director of Clinical Sciences Administration of the Faculty of Medicine, and Ms. Wing Wong, Director, Office of Academic Links (China).
