8. Blancco Data Cleaner for Secure Data Destruction

Many people realize the importance of erasing the confidential or personal data stored on a computer before throwing it away.  However, few realize that merely deleting the files or even reformatting the hard disk is not adequate to wipe out the data permanently.  The data can easily be restored just with some special tools.

To prevent confidential data from falling into wrong hands when computers are disposed of, a more secure approach is to use disk cleaning software for complete data erasure.  For this purpose, we've purchased a site license for Blancco Data Cleaner for secure data destruction.
