2. Replacement of Digital Certificates: 30 Major Web Servers and Web-based Applications Installed with Hongkong Post Digital Certificates

Digital certificates are electronic identity credentials that can be used to securely pass sensitive information over the internet and authenticate that the certificate holders - people, web sites, and network resources such as routers - are who or what they claim to be.

Since early April, digital certificates issued by Hongkong Post have been gradually installed in 30 major web servers and web applications under ITSC jurisdiction.

9. Feature: Optical Mark Reading (OMR) Service

Our Optical Mark Reading (OMR) Service has been around for many years. It gives departments a fast and efficient way of marking examinations or processing questionnaires.

This easy-to-use yet reliable service employs a scanning technology in which data is scanned (or "read") via marks made in predefined positions on a form and entered into a computer system as data files.  This greatly improves the efficiency of researches and student projects as the format of the data files is directly acceptable to all data analysis software.

Details >>>

Departments can design their own forms for course evaluations or surveys through Remark Office OMR 6.0 solution.
