Faculty Tea Reception for Freshmen Well-Received by Freshmen and Faculty

At the successfully run Faculty Tea Reception for Freshmen this year, freshmen got the chance to meet their faculty and hear an inspiring talk by Mr. Peter Wong Tung Shun, the Group General Manager and Executive Director of HSBC, who shared his wisdom and advice with the students.

Highlights of CUBA Admission Results, 2007

The admission results of the 2007 JUPAS recruitment exercise, the main admission channel of local secondary 7 students, has been announced.  Our Business Faculty continues doing exceptionally well under JUPAS this year, both in terms of intake numbers and quality.  In addition, we keep on admitting the finest group of students through the Early Admissions Scheme (EAS), a channel for local secondary 6 students who obtained very outstanding HKCEE results.

CUHK Business Student Wins 2007 Rhodes Scholarship
Ms. Shelley Zhang Tianyu

Ms Shelley Zhang Tianyu, a graduating Integrated BBA student of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, has beaten 51 students from different local universities to become the Hong Kong Rhodes Scholar this year. She is the seventh CUHK student who received this prestigious award in the past ten years, as well as the second business student and the first mainland student studying in CUHK to receive the award since the scholarship was established in 1986.  She has headed for the United Kingdom to continue her studies in MSc in Financial Economics in Oriel College at Oxford University.
