A 6-member delegation led by Prof. Yang Yuliang, President of Fudan University visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 7 September. The University was honoured to have Prof. Yang to give a public lecture on "Humanities and General Education in University".

A delegation from Beijing Genomics Institute, Shenzhen (BGI) visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 21 September. The delegation was led by Prof. Yang Huanming, President of BGI and Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

On 25 September, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) warmly welcomed a delegation led by Dr. Tse Chi Wai, Chair; and Prof. Zhao Wei, Rector of University of Macau (UM). The delegation was composed of administrators from Rector's Office, representatives from Campus Development and Engineering Section, and architecture consultants. The aim of UM's visit was to understand the operation of CUHK and its campus development.

Prof. Shen Yan, Vice President, National Natural Science Foundation of China led a delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong in early September. The delegation met with CUHK representatives, including Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Henry N.C. Wong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director, School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Lin Haiqing, Chairman, Department of Physics; and Prof. Lin Hui, Director, Institute of Space and Earth Information Science.

Prof. Ran Pixin, President of Guangzhou Medical College led a 5-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 16 September. The delegation met with CUHK representatives and signed an academic cooperation agreement between the two Universities.

Prof. Li Fengliang, Vice President of Shenzhen University led an 8-member delegation to pay a visit to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 17 September for exchange.
