Symposium on Future Directions for Public Health Education

With the increasing roles and responsibilities of public health in healthcare reform, health education, infectious diseases control and sustainability, the School of Public Health organised a Symposium on Future Directions for Public Health Education to explore shared views and interests in developing better public health education with experts from various Asia Pacific countries including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and India on 28 February and 1 March 2009 in Hong Kong.

The School of Public Health will be organising the "Asia Conference on Emerging Issues in Public Health" at the School of Public Health on 29 November and 2 December 2009 building upon the February symposium, which will be organised by the School of Public Health of The Chinese University of Hong Kong in partnership with National Consortium for Public Health Education for Non-Public Health Undergraduates, Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH), China Public Health Deans Association, and the UK Faculty of Public Health amongst others.
