| CAMPUS MASTER PLAN
The University announced the appointment of Aedas Limited and their overseas partner Edward Cullinan Architects (UK) as Lead Consultant of the Campus Master Planning (CMP) on 22 February 2008. During the Stage 1 activities, the Consultants actively gathered detailed information from different stakeholder groups (Colleges, Faculties, students, staff, alumni, and University members) through a series of engagement meetings, workshops, forums, and an online view collection exercise. They are now working closely with the professional team of sub-consultants, such as traffic engineers, on technical and planning evaluation, and the conceptual design of CMP. In the coming stages, the Steering Committee and the Consultant will organize different activities to keep the Consultant closely connected to the different stakeholder groups to understand thoroughly their views and concerns, and formulate a campus master plan that best accommodate the common vision of all university members.
Gathering Detailed Views
Both the consultation process and final outcome are important to the University in the formulation of a sustainable campus master plan.
